The Prince George’s’ County Drug Policy Coalition sponsors literary events and book fairs to inspire reading among youth and adults. Local and national authors, literacy professionals and community organizations participate in the program. The first "Read to Lead" event included White House Correspondent April Ryan at the Mall in Prince George's. The Coalition presented its "Soaring to New Heights" event as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Oxon Hill Library in Oxon Hill, MD. The Coalitions' president is the author of "Advice from the Top" which is available in libraries around the country.
